Two Of The Npcs In Particular Are Geared For An Evil Party.
Just started this game up again and am going as a cavalier (yes i remembered to go with two handed weapons). (high constitution, shield+sword style) main character. Ditching mazzy & nalia is definitely a good decision, especially in favor of anomen & jan jansen.

The best baldurs gate 2 npc character party selection. Right now i'm playing a fighter/thief and i have mazzy, cernd, edwin, aerie, and imoen in. I have no favourite party.
You Need A Thief To Disarm Traps And Open Locks, Imoen Is Just Good Enough To Fill That Roll And A Good Mage On Top Of That.
My favorite bg2 party was a party of highest virtue and goodness, and consisted of the following members: Sramsay12 11 years ago #1. I realize there is no best npc party and this topic has been covered to insanity but this is the party out of playing all the way through.
